Unfortunately, I'm not using ANY program to copy the CD. It's a stereo-component CD recorder, so I'm at the mercy of the machine...but, as noted, this is the first time I've ever run across this problem. I'd never noticed it before, but I am noticing this time around that a few of the CDs from which I'm taking songs...notably Toploader's "Onka's Big Moka" and Nellie McKay's "Get Away From Me"...result in the recorder flashing "TEXT PROTECTED" across the display when they're put into the system...but it doesn't prevent me from putting the songs onto mix discs. It is, however, apparently prohibiting me from dubbing a copy of the mix discs that I make. Very, very weird. But I'm proceeding ahead, anyway. I'm on my 5th copy right now, and, at this rate, I'll probably be at least a third of the way done with my neccesary discs before the end of the day. At that rate, I may still be able to ship everything to Bill come the end of the week. That's my goal, at least... WILL
