I'm in agreement with the comments offered by Joe Field and Jaimie Vernon with regard to McCartney's musical output staying strong through his time with Wings, although to be fair I haven't been interested enough in his solo career to pick up anything since Tug of War. I recently put together my own "Best of Wings" CD compilation and was really challenged to narrow it down to a single disc, even without my beloved Back to the Egg on CD. Paul's work during the Beatles era really can't be topped, but *for me* some Wings recordings (Live & Let Die, Band On The Run, Jet, My Love, Maybe I'm Amazed (live)) are as good, and as important to me, as anything by The Beatles.
