FYI, the Fountains of Wayn's "Better Days" sounds awfully like the

All 8 Rubinoos parents attended a Rube show in San Jose circa late 79.
Our group was sitting right next to em. Lots of dancing...

My daughter Nicole is/was an Audities subscriber & I have attended shows
with bothmy daughters. Once for my birthday it was the Muffs (their
band) with my buds Walter Clevenger & the Dairy Kings opening (gotta get
an OC jabin here too!).

So, I presume BayPop is history? There was no 2003 event & I haven't
seen Paul or Don in ?? (I don't get out much anymore). The 2002 event
offered up Roy Loney (Dilittones incarnation), with Cyril joining in
for a few Groovie tunes at the end.

When was Lola single released in Canada & US? I had a friend bring back
several copies from hs HS graduation trip to England, where it had just
been released (June, 70 thereabouts). So by the time it was in radio
rotation I was already well versed.
