Just saw Mean Girls today and was surprised to find out that the soundtrack 
"album" is only available as downloads on itunes. Not that I was going to 
buy the album, if it existed, but it did have a good cover of Billy Idol's 
"Dancing with Myself" by the Donnas (whom I like generally).  It also has a 
not all that hot cover of Blondie's "Rip Her to Shreads" by Boomkat (led by 
kind of annoying film actress Taryn Manning).
