Not sure how many of you guys are fans of Ash, but their new album, >Meltdown, has just been released.  There is a (limited?)  2 CD version of >the album which includes the studio tracks on one CD + a live album.  The >live album has live versions of all the songs + a few oldie Ash faves. >Bob, I love the band...but you're in Scotland, right? Wondering if this is >available domestically (heading to search web-wide in a second) There's no US release at this time. Their US label, Kinetic Records, went belly a couple of months ago. The band's official website says that their manager is still in negotiations with interested parties and the band is hoping for a US release later this year. They played at Coachella last month ; can that be taken as a good sign too ? I heard some of the new songs when they did a short headlining tour a year ago ("Evil Eye", "Orpheus') I usually don't mind shelling out for an import but I might wait around this time. There's a radio feature on the band's website (www.ash-official.com) if you want get a preview of the new tunes. Heavier than Free All Angels but still catchy as hell :-) Cheers, Jennifer _________________________________________________________________ Watch LIVE baseball games on your computer with MLB.TV, included with MSN Premium! http://join.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200439ave/direct/01/
