funny you should ask as I was gonna post...

The Bigger Lovers are an incredible Philly band who
I've had the pleasure of knowing for the better
portion of the last ten years or so...actually a
little longer now.

They were just in DC at fun new club DC 9 (one block
from 9:30 Club and right around the corner from The
Velvet!

The new cd on yep roc is tons of fun, you can sample
some stuff on the Yep Roc site and their site too. 
This past Friday we were treated to their kick ass
regular set plus their fun covers of Wreckless Eric,
The Only Ones and a soundcheck of The Soft Boys "Queen
of Eyes." I plan to be at the Mojo show on June 22!

DC/Arlington, VA fans take note, The Bigger Lovers
won't be at the Galaxy Hut on June 21st as stated on
the Hut's website. They decided to take a night off.  

and btw, Grand Champeen are a great band too, who will
be playing the Mojo show and should still be
performing at the Galaxy hut on 6/21!
