Waiting for the plumber (tried to flush a hot-dog), havin' a beer and listening to a package from NL. Lolas - Something You Outta Know: I'm sure lots of you have this by now. Worth noting for anyone who didn't like the small, kinda claustrophobic production on the early albums (which I like) - but this one is clear and wide open, might appeal more to some who were turned off by the sound but still liked the songs. Count Bishops - Speedball Plus 11: Some of the fastest, tastiest played Brit/Chuck Berry I've ever heard. From 1975. DMZ - S/T: Re-issue of their first Sire release - produced by 'Flo and Eddie' - who apparently had nothing better to do. Great early garage revival - faster than Lyres - includes another great Sonics cover (Cinderella) for the stack. Lee Elliott www.anotherplanet.ca NP: Michel Pagliaro
