I wish I knew what he was up to.  His two albums are real gems especially in 
the time frame in which they came out!
The only thing that I know is that he played trumpet (and produced?) a great 
French band called Tahiti 80 who has two brilliant cds out.  Haven't geard 
anything else but if anyone knows....
