but it got big 'ole hooks!

Eagles Of Death Metal - Peace Love Death Metal

I won't tell you who's in this duo as some of you will be more prejudiced
than you already are by the name of the band and album. ;-)

But fooooock the White Stripes, this guitar/drum duo is much more to my
style and liking.  Okay, take the White Stripes schtickt wrap it up w/ all
the lovely riffing of Queens Of The Stone Age, Masters Of Reality, The
Shazam(yes!), Led Zeppelin III and Guided By Voices and dip it all in a bit
of jug-band review and glam rock nostalgia(think Glitter riffs) and you have
one big pile 'o rawk.
