That is the only plant left and it's huge. As part of my day job, I went down there a few years ago. It's on 1 Capitol Way, Jacksonville, which is about a hour or so from Springfield, Illinois. Very very nice folks. I don't deal with them on a day to day like I used to, but that plant is a real part of that community. The EMI warehouse facility, which is a separate bldg next door, will remain in place. At night, if I recall, the only thing to do was bowling! Everybody was there.... there was one used record store and they sold....uh.... used Capitol stuff..... :) Like everyone with old Capitol lps, i wondered about all those plants, too.
