My information was from a myriad of sources all thrown into one E-mail, but most of it came from TearsForFears.net. Curt Smith's website had a reference to L.A. Reid's departure at the beginning of this year, and how Smith had thought he was a great guy...so I'm just guessing that, if TFF were a pet project of L.A.
