I will speak up for precisely two songs by NKOTB.

1)  "Step By Step."  If Even Dando can make something out of a song, it can't be all bad.
2)  "Tonight."  Sorry, it's a great freakin' song.  It's very Beatle-y, and I have snuck it onto many a mix tape over the years with people saying, "REALLY?  That's the New Kids???"

Once you've slow-danced to "Hold Me Now," you can never fully be convinced that the Thompson Twins suck.  It's on my list of the best songs of the '80s...
