I sneer not, Kreskin..."take a pill" is a euphemism I use with a smile on my
face. It means, in this context, "relax...don't take something meant to be
light entertainment, (and a fine 'tip of the hat' to the silliness of pop
culture), so seriously".
Happy to see you haven't lost your well honed sense of  indignation...
