I can't remember a single video that ever struck me as anything really all
that earth shattering. I stopped watching MTV not quite a year after I
started watching it. I'm not sure where you turn to watch music videos
anymore, but seeing this on "Launch" was a treat.

I'm putting this and "Stacy's Mom," which I also saw for the first time on
Launch right before I clicked on "Mexican Wine" in the same category as that
recent stunt by The Alarm where they hired a bunch of good-looking young
guys, called themselves a different name and had a hit.

i.e. If people are going to buy CDs based on the looks of the video, then
give them videos that entertain them on that level. Sooner or later they'll
grow out of videos, but they'll remember the songs for a long long time.
