When I first moved to the SF bay Area in 1978 I almost quit listing to my records because regional radio was so awesome. Not only all the new music (78-80 was a great time for that) but superb dj's on KSAN, KOME (Dennis Erectus just being one example) and even college radio like KFJC. Not the golden 60's but as close as it's been. I will always love, and forever nostalgically pine for, radio as it was practiced until the 90's when corporation killed the radio star.
