Of course in the pop world, especially more recently, you have people
like Britney, Justin, Christina ..  Janet, Elton ..  As long as it's a unique 
name, it makes you think of a certain person.   Michael Jackson can't be 
referred to as "Michael" because there are too many..  in L.A. 
circles, I'm a big Stew fan, and while Stew just uses a single name as his 
moniker, I find that I can refer to most people in his band as a single 
name...  Stew, Heidi, Probyn, Morley, Nelson .. Again, all pretty unique 
first names.
