Wished they'd come to the USA to play a few gig's. Very few instumental rock fans in the USA know anything about the Shadows. These guys are one of the big reasons why John, Paul Stu & George stopped playing skiffle. I didnt know much about them except for recording the original version of "Apache" which was covered by Jorgen Ingman in 1961. I picked up Scamp records "Shadows Are Go!" compliation and felt stupid that I never bought any of thier records/CD's before, being a Ventures and Challengers fan since childhood. Great stuff if you love the twang!
