I was probably the only kid in Groveland, FL on 
this day 40 years ago that was watching The 
Wonderful World of Disney. 

The next day, all I heard was BEATLES> Girls were 
calling my mom's beauty shop asking for Beatle 
haircuts, and bringing up LPs to show her what 
they looked like. Guys who formerly had no 
interest in music were talking about starting 
bands.

And I went from "the kid who could read college 
books in kindergarten" to "the stupid kid who 
watched Disney that night." Hey...I was 6 years 
old....gimmie a break!

I've been making up for it ever since...
