David Bradley covered a lot of ground in a few posts -- I see a lot of his 
points, though I think there is a bit of overreaction involved too.  I just 
wanted to comment on one.

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking why The Darkness hasn't 
broken in the U.S., and asking if us Yanks are getting it.  I don't think 
there's anything condescending about just a framework, simply because of the 
litany of bands who haven't made the transition from the UK to the US.  
People have asked the same question about The Kinks, about The Jam and many 
others.
