While I have been just a lurker for many a year.  Like to read, not post.  But since you are asking for females' opinions, I, for one, love The Darkness!
Got it as an import last summer and I play it constantly.  Best thing since sliced bread, in my opinion.  First time I heard it, I had to laugh out loud, now I just sing along with my best falsetto!
