The movie and song came out in 2001 and in the 3 year period since, has just started to appear on radar thanks to cable and cult movie status.  In fact, apparently, last week, the song hit #1 in the UK.

I went to see Gary Jules over a year ago in NYC at Fez during his residency and I have to say, short of the token Tears For Fears cover, which many there were waiting to see, there wasn't much going on.  The songs were so-so, his voice was sweet sometimes, scraggly others.

He had a record on A&M about 7 years ago I think too.
