Hey Tom, This guy was number 1 in the UK for about 3 weeks over xmas and I believe has only dropped outside the top 10 in this weeks mid-week charts. As you say the track was on the Donnie Darko soundtrack and has been available over here on compilations for over a year but it gradually just built over months and months getting more and more airplay and eventually keeping the darkness off the top slot for xmas. I've now been seeing lots of great reviews of his solo stuff (mad world was with Michael Andrews) which apparently is now released here but I've yet to pick up a copy... He definitely has a soft and sweet voice, not technically amazing but very easy on the ear! Anyway, from the reviews I've read might be worth picking up a copy...
