I'll join in on this topic of reunited bands. I was one of those people in New York who stood in line to get autographs from the first lineup of King Crimson, it was a great day even though they did not play any music together. Hell, if they had it would have blown away almost anything else that I would have ever seen. By the way I would also love to see Fripp & Eno on stage together. But I've got to say that the A - Number One - Band that I would like to see reunite is THE MODERN LOVERS!!! I am sure that Jonathan has made it clear that he doesn't want to do this but all of the members are alive and it isn't like Jerry Harrison, Ernie Brooks or David Robinson are so busy. I would go any where, any time and for any price to see this group on stage. The only thing that could make it better would be if Jonathan did a weekend of shows which featured each version of the Modern Lovers doing a set. Speaking of bands that I would like to see reunite on this list I would include the Art Bears (Dagmar Krause, Fred Frith & Chris Cutler) and I just got a 6 CD Box set of the Art Bears ... YES, A 6 CD ART BEARS BOX SET! It contains their three studio albums, one disc of live material and two discs of remixes ... Something that I needed to get but how many times will I need to pull it out for a listen. If you are interested in this baby you can get it for only $75 from: https://www.squidco.com/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=S& Category_Code=ARTBEAR Who are the official American distributors of the box, on the other hand you can wait until January 27 and get it from Amazon for $133.
