Not particularly.  The one half-decent rock writer at either of Boston's
major dailies is the Herald's Sarah Rodman, who while I don't share her
tastes in much of anything, seems to know more or less what she's talking
about.  The Globe's Larry Katz is basically useless, and Renee Graham is
downright embarrassing in the way that she'll learn that something is hot,
new and exciting about three or four months after everyone else is already
sick of it.
