I think the initial plan was to release something in the year
2000...obviously this never happened. Ray was doing his STORYTELLERS thing,
Dave toured some clubs with a band, etc., but no Kinks shows.

I'm holding out hope that something happens this year - the 40th
anniversary. A new record would be great. A DVD of Unplugged Greatest Hits
(To The Bone to the max) would be great. A box set of rarities, live
versions and fistfight footage would be great. I'm not hard to please.

Still my favorite band of all time, even though 90% of my favorite material
is at least 25 years old.

It wouldn't happen on this show though - they're at a whole other level than
these bands.
