I had the op to return to Chicago for the holidays, and I got to catch 
up with The Waxwings since they were doing a show there.   They are 
headed off to Europe for the first time to do some shows since "Shadows 
of The Waxwings" was just picked up by a British label as a one off.   
They are in discussions with another label  to release a new record in 
late March or early April...this venture looks very promising!  They 
hope to get back on the road in the US once the record is released.   
The single that was supposed to be released back in October is still on 
it's way.   The date is still TBD.   They performed new tracks at this 
gig, and they sounded great!!
