I thought the band they had onstage (on the first song, only --
turned it off mid-song, actually) was pretty good, not what 
you'd call "indie pop" neccesarily,....or, wait, come to think 
of it, those girls in the red n' black horseriding pants, 
slapping their thighs and jigglin' around, and that goofball 
Andre with the crazy Carrot-Top hair and Mau-Mau makeup,
doing the crazy dance moves...they were all just gyratin' to a
tape right? Yeah, I think so....not much of a "live" experience,
then, huh? Maybe there wasn't enough room for them on the
stage...
