Target and Circuit City are also known to carry exclusives. In fact, Bon Jovi and U2 both released entire CDs exclusive to Target with bonus tracks, remixes, etc.

I don't agree with Best Buy trying to monopolize the market with CDs available only through them, but I certainly don't begrudge the fan of an artist for buying a CD someplace because it's the only place it's available...even if it's only available there for a few weeks. Now, if it was announced right off the bat that the track listing would be different for its later release, that's another story...because they'd've known what they were getting into.
