The South by Southwest folks have announced the first round of confirmed 
music acts for this year's fest, which will take place March 17-21.

Fans can look forward to sets by roots reggae legends Toots and the Maytals, 
local faves Los Lonely Boys, Danish disco-rockers Junior Senior, Irish 
popsters The Thrills, punk band NOFX, comedian David Cross, punk pop stars 
Alkaline Trio, Swedish garage rockers the Hives, songwriter Charlie Robison 
and N.E.R.D., featuring hip-hop superproducers the Neptunes. The festival 
has also confirmed two new panels: interviews with Flaming Lips frontman 
Wayne Coyne and with folk icon Ani DiFranco.
