just before xmas, Mark wrote of the rapture:

i can't speak for rapture audiences in philly and elsewhere around the country, but here in nyc every-20something-body is listening to gang of four right now, and everybody
knows from where the rapture came. the rapture are far from alone. television are very big right now,  too.  and the archies.

just kidding about the archies.  sort of.  i think they're bigger in boston at the moment.
