The lead singers' parents were interviewed on BBC Look East local telly a couple of nights ago. They were sincere in their belief that The Darkness were the saviors of rock and roll, and it was the industry that has caught up with them. It was funny and touching at the same time. They look like having the Xmas no. 1 single, though. And the UKs dreariest coastal town is just south of Lowestoft - it's Felixstowe. Cheers, John
