Yes, it's year-end album list time and as usual I'm 
frantically trying to figure what I need to listen to in 
order to come up with a semblance of a objective list (yes, 
of course that's not possible)

of course the dillemma is not made easier by the various 
lists coming over the Audities channel - so much great music 
out there!

so I happened to pick up the Thrills and new Super Furry 
Animals at the same time (as well as Bowie's *Reality*) and 
am amazed top discover that both share a rustic, americana, 
earthy vibe which is certainly pleasing. Strange coincidence 
or what. So should I also pick up Josh Rouse, Death Cab for 
Cutie and The Shins? And why?
