Thats true - the band needed a new LP ASAP for the 1981 world tour but didnt have much new material - so Jagger went through boxes of old sessions, the band did a little overdubbing and had Clearmountian remix them. Considering how dull "Emotional Rescue" was, Its amazing to me how well "Tatoo" holds together despite being from 6 years of sessions. I like the way all the rockers are on the first side and the ballads on the second. About the only other album I know thats sequenced this way was Beach Boys "Today!" from 1964. I wonder how "Four Flicks" DVD set is selling around the country - my local Best Buy had a few hundred still on the racks.
