I have a couple weeks vacation to take between now and the end of the year, so I can volunteer to spend some time making a web front end to a database collection. Sounds a lot more interesting that mindlessly wandering the malls looking for all those perfect xmas gifts that seem to elude me year after year. It will allow users to update without someone having to sort through emails and make manual changes. It can be something that can be used throughout the year to record and track new releases, then queried at the end of the year for a complete list. I just ask that someone keep up with all the submissions between now and when I get a chance to get started, then I can simply import the list into the database at that point. It can grow into something a lot more complex (and fun) than simply a list of releases, but this could be a good starting point. Let me know if it's something worth killing some time with. I'd love to do it if it will get used. I can put up a page on my site and just post a link, then people can send additions or corrections - if that works. I'll do a first cut tonight when I get home.
