No idea, but it's another example of a commercial using a song for the opposite meaning of the lyrics. First, there was the investment firm using The Brains "Money Changes Everything", which is about how money can make things worse in a relationship. Now, Devo's "Freedom of Choice" -- "Freedom of choice is what you got/freedom from choice is what you want." Makes me think of an old Bill Hicks' routine: "Anyone here in marketing or advertising?" (Applause) "Kill yourselves." (Laughter) "No, I'm serious. You contribute nothing to the world. Kill yourselves."
