On a related note to Neal Morse's "Testimony" show (now that you guys have piqued my curiosity regarding the album), a new DVD has hit stores featuring Morse & Mike Portnoy's side project Transatlantic. It's titled "Live In Europe," and features a bonus live peformance of the ol' Pink Floyd "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." One of Transatlantic's songs is very much like listening to side 2 of ABBEY ROAD - seemingly unrelated songs strung together. ("Suite Charlotte Pike" from the 2nd studio album BRIDGE ACROSS FOREVER.) I definitely like Spock's Beard, but then I'm an old prog fan at heart. However I must add that I saw an online simulcast of Spock's live recently, and Nick D'Virgilio (also a part-time Rubinoo aside from his role as drummer & now lead vocalist with SB) was mighty impressive in his new frontman role with the band, particularly when they did the majority of the second half of SNOW as one long suite. Talented guy. Sitting down to the new Transatlantic & Queen DVDs, Brioohs -- THE OOHS HOME PAGE at http://www.theoohs.com THE OOHS on MP3.COM until December 2, 2003 (thanks a lot, Vivendi & C-NET) Both CDs available at NOT LAME, CD BABY, JAM, TR BAZAAR or KOOL KAT MUSIK!
