No, Jon...that stuff is classic..it's just simple, low-ball, rock, and not only well done in it's own right, but given extra leg-room for it's nostalgia factor. (Nostalgia is that thing that makes you want to hear "You Light Up My Life", sometimes, even though it used to induce projectile vomiting, because it reminds you of the slutty Hottie that used to make you listen to it...) As your musical tastes develop, you tend to look for more interesting, well constructed music...at least some of us do.
