If you like Smitten, I think you might enjoy "Big Red Letter Day". It was their most commercial album until Smitten. And I don't mean to be disparaging by saying "commercial". Their other albums were a lot more lo-fi. I've got them all, but I BRLD is the one I still pick out from the shelves, if only because it contains the excellent "Treehouse". They've also released two compilations, one of A-sides and one of B-sides. But I still think you're most likely to enjoy BRLD.
