He was 54. The Associated Press reports that Palmer suffered a heart attack while enjoying a two-day break in the French capital city. According to his manager, Palmer had just completed a recording session in Britain. Remembered for his snappy suits and being flanked by a number of models in miniskirts in the "Addicted To Love" video, Palmer was never one to take his musical subject matter too seriously. "I can't think of another attitude to have toward an audience than a hopeful and a positive one," he once said.
