Metaphor overkill warning…....

I'll add, IMO, Stewart (and other regulars) has been swimming in the 
audities pool for a looong time. Sometimes he does a canon ball, but 
more often then not it's a clean, crisp dive.  The problem (IMO) 
comes when a newbie jumps in the pool, over and over, and ONLY doe's 
canon balls.  The entry into the pool is seemingly more for the sake 
of the size of the splash and subsequent size of the ripples it 
creates.  Why wouldn't people want to chase such a person out of the 
pool?  However, if one swims around awhile, the occasional cannon 
ball is often (not always) less problematic because people have a 
better understanding of the person and the thus the context for what 
might have "triggered" the reaction.

Lord your recent response to David's post came without much splash 
this last time. This leaves me hoping you might be willing to add a 
few new dives to your repertoire.
