I just listened to one of the best CDs I've heard in quite a while.  It
was "Polaroid" by Phantom Planet, their "fan club only" release.  For lack
of a better reference, the tunes put me in the mind of Redd Kross with the
guitar tone of Brian May on the leads.  Others could probably give it a more
precise review.  I consider it better than either of their two "official"
releases, though both of those have their charms.

    It got me to thinking, what other masterpieces are available to only a
chosen few?  What are the best officially unavailable discs out there?
