Did Marshall Crenshaw's book only cover music in films...or did it also cover band appearances on TV shows...
 
On another note...isn't it absolutely incredible given Dick Clarks rabid need to memorialize himself, that he neglected to save any tapes of most Bandstand show from the 60's and 70's?

I remember the Munsters episode with the Standells (? - or one of those garage bands) preceded our set.
