With IPO Liverpool coming up in only a little more than a month, I figured
it would be a good time to update you with flight and hotel info:

Ruth Brodeen of Smooth Sailing Travel has been able to get flight rates to
Manchester (which is the nearest airport to Liverpool) of approximately $500
plus tax, depending on the departure city.  These rates are far better than
what she was able to find on the internet ($700+).

With regard to hotel info, due to the efforts of my colleague in Liverpool,
Jean Catharell, and the director of The Cavern Club, Bill Heckle, we were
able to secure holds on hotel rooms for IPO Liverpool at The Britannia
Adelphi Hotel, in the centre of Liverpool.  Here are the details:

Double or Twin room - £60 including Breakfast
Single (of which there are not many) - £45 including Breakfast.
This is a very good rate by the way.
The Phone number for the Hotel is 0151 709 7200 and Christine in
Reservations will be the person to speak to.  The code for the discount is
"Adelphi Pop Overthrow" .....

This is the same hotel where Beatle Week is held every year so they are well
used to musicians and lots of people.
