Saw The Vibrators at a shitty little punk club (Quarter's) in Milwaukee about 2 years ago & they still rock. They played like it was a packed show in a real club instead of a hole in the wall with 20 people on a Sunday night. Afterwards, Knox autographed my "Baby, Baby" 45 (a song REM covered) & my Alex Chilton "Live In London" CD which he plays guitar on. They're playing Milwaukee at a real club on the 13th, but we are playing a Alejandro Escovedo benefit that night. My fav guitar solo is by Mick Jones on The Clash's version of "Brand New Cadillac". I stand by if a band isn't The Something (capital T), then they can still be the Something (small t) in writing or conversation.
