Most of the info in the post to which I am replying to is inaccurate. DVD-Audio can be played on virtually all DVD-Video players. Hell, I can play PS DVD-A on my 4 year old Toshiba DVD player and in 5.1 Surround! The 5.1 mix CAN be played on all 4 of my standard DVD players. Every DVD-Audio disc I've seen, and I own a few as well, can be played on any DVD player according to the tray card. Basically, if it has a DVD logo on the player, the disc can be played in it. >MOST DVD-A (and isn't *that* an unfortunate acronym, given what we all know >it stands for after Matt Stone and Trey Parker named their band that?) >discs >can only be played on specific DVD-A players, alhough some DVD-Video >players >support the format. However, the PS DVD-A is structured so the mono and >stereo mixes, and of course the video footage, can be played on DVD-Video >players too - but you probably couldn't play the 5.1 mix on your standard >DVD player. And the PS disc is an exception. > >-- >http://stealthmunchkin.com >Stealth Munchkin play the Cavern, Liverpool , Wednesday 15th October >As part of International Pop Overthrow. > _________________________________________________________________ Get MSN 8 and enjoy automatic e-mail virus protection. http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus
