This list includes Jack White (above Richard Thompson, yet!), John
Frusciante (surely the sloppiest high-profile guitarist since Jimmy Page,
and, unlike Jimmy, boring as hell)), Jerry Miller and John Cipollina (sure I
loved 'em at the time, but I defy you to listen to 10 minutes of that stuff
today), Leigh Stephens (was this a "best" list or a "loudest" list?), John
Fogarty just above Clarence White (John would be embarrassed by this, no
doubt) --- and no Lindsey Buckingham????  No Terry Kath?  No Leo Kotke?
