A few recent buried pleasures of mine.

TONY HAZZARD - "Sings", "Wat That Alright Then" and "Loudwater House". (late
60s-early 70s).
Excellent pop songwriter stuff, not unlike good Gerry Rafferty meets Macca
meets early James Taylor.

JOHN BROMLEY - Sings
here's a description I found: John Bromley was a songwriter who Polydor
encouraged to put his songs on vinyl. The album was a collection of 45s
with extra tracks added. The Fleur de Lys were called in to provide the
backing on some, including So Many Things, which can also be heard on Rubble
Vol. 16: Glass Orchid Aftermath (LP) and Rubble Vol. 9 (CD). Despite this
added dimension the album didn't sell well. He'd been with The Three People
in 1966/67. He wrote Come On Down for Jackie De Shannon and This World's
An Apple for the Ace Kefford Stand

TRILOGY - I'm Beggining To Feel It (1970?)
Some pop, some boogie rock, some light prog influences, all very acoustic
at times too, harmonies. A pure delight.

STILLROCK - s/t 
Countrified but British invasion-influenced band - early 70s if I recall
correctly.

TEEN-AGE Dreams cd series -- early pre-British Invasion stuff. Anyone into
this? Please contact me offlist!

AUTOSALVAGE - s/t -- a mix of influences here too, Byrds being the most
notorious one. Baroque. Very good.

SALLOOM-SINCLAIR .- At times sounding like Janis Joplin. A very powerful
female singer.

Also checking out MASON PROFFIT's entire output. Love these country sounds.

There's always buried vinyl to be discovered!

A great recent find: THE ARHOOLIES - Friends (1989)- Jangly Swiss pop produced
by Robin Wills!

DANIEL BOONE - Beautiful Sunday, and others.
BEE GEES - Well, love almost everything, of course, but I recently played
the "Living Eyes" Lp and I still believe it is fantastic-- was this one
every issued on cd??
