If you like independent film, underground comix and/or guys named Eytan making brief cameos singing the title song of the movie you're seeing, then you should check out "American Splendor," the Harvey Pekar biopic. It's already gotten two thumbs up on the "Ebert and the Other Guy" show, during which Ebert said it would be on his ten best list. I saw it at the premiere the other night and it really was a great film. James Urbaniak as R. Crumb in particular was amazing. Believe me, I won't profit in any way if you go. It just happens to be a film worth seeing. _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
