I don't think I've read any mentions here of my favorite Sparks albums, No. 1 In Heaven. The Giorgio Moroder production may be dated, and the disco rhythms probably don't appeal to fans of The Big Three, but it really is one of the smartest disco albums ever released. The lyrics to Tryouts For The Human Race crack me up each time. May have even paved the way for The Pet Shop Boys, which I guess is a crime in some books (not mine, of course).
