Thanks for any > help you can offer! > I can't answer the first question, since I honestly don't know anything about their setlist. Perhaps it'll be similar to the set that they played their last time through town -- in which case one of my fellow Chicago power pop mafiosi can answer your question, since I had to miss that gig. For instance, I'm pretty sure that Mike Bennett was there. As Randy Paske said, the Abbey is not a large venue. It lists capacity at 550, but that might be stretching it a bit. The Abbey is located at the corner of Grace and Elston, two blocks north of the major intersection of Kimball (3400 West) and Addison (3600 North). It's 4 1/2 miles north and 4 1/4 miles west of the Loop. The show starts at nine, so the Addison bus won't be running when the show ends. Your best bet to get to the Abbey Pub and back from downtown is to take the Blue Line el train from the Loop to the Addison stop, walk four blocks east on Addison to Kimball, walk a block and a half north on Kimball to Elston (one of Chicago's rare diagonal streets), and then walk a half-block northwest on Elston to the Abbey -- and then retrace your steps back to the Blue Line after the show. It's no more than ten-fifteen minutes' worth of walking either way, and it's a lot cheaper than a cab. http://www.abbeypub.com http://yourcta.com Gregory Sager
